"Make do and mend," thought the Austrians, and that is exactly what they did...

  1. Take the former deficient EuroLight and CityNightlLine trains operated by Deutsche Bahn
  2. Take them into ÖBB´s (Österreichische Bundesbahn) fleet and give them some tender upgrades.
  3. Revive and rename the trains to NightJet and let them take the rails by storm.
A successful formula created!
 
But what sounds so easy here was in fact a path of trial and tribulation. But with a lot of patience, and even more commitment, ÖBB finally made it. Today the newly introduced Nightjet services operated by Östereichische Bundesbahnen on overnight routes are running profitably.
 
The Nightjet is not only climate-neutral, but it also carries its passengers by coach, couchette and sleeper coach in a time-saving way to more than 25 European metropolises. Offering great comfort and a variety of travelling options, these trains offer something for everyone.
 
“Honour to whom honour is due,” goes the saying, and so the Nightjet finally makes its way into Train Simulator. 3DZUGs recreation, containing seven different, highly detailed, walk-in enabled night train coaches, accompanied by a car transport wagon, now bring the Nightjet its deserved attention.
 
Get excited again and again by the attention to detail, the varied interiors and passenger views inside the coaches, the couchettes and the sleeper coaches, together with the realistic sounds.
 
Multiple scenarios and the included DDm car transport wagon round off this exciting package, which is a must-have for every rail fleet.
