In the 1960s British Rail modified the frames of steam locomotive tenders to create large drift snowploughs. This particular type is called the ZZA. Network Rail own 20 of these today. The fleet of ZZAs are placed around the UK for use when the weather turns snowy and the lines need to be cleared.

The ZZA PlusPak features Just Trains ActivWagon scripting. This intelligent coding gives you features which would not normally be available.

The ZZA is supplied in two versions: one that has snow ploughing and sound effects and another which does not display these effects for use in non-snow ploughing conditions. The ZZA has been carefully modelled and textured to capture its unique shape.

Supplied in eight liveries and modelled in very high quality with exacting details and intelligent scripting, the ZZA snowplough will give you a different way to drive in your Train Simulator world.

Three scenarios in two types are included: one set uses default Train Simulator routes and locomotives and another uses payware add-ons (not included with this software).

The King and Queen of the ploughing fleet are today working back to Derby RTC, having just been tasked to clear the Hope Valley Line. You join the working at Dore West Junction and will take the train onwards to the RTC yards.

ZZA - (PAYWARE) HIGHLAND SNOWPLOUGH
Today you have been tasked with clearing the Kyle Line. The snow has been falling for some time and to keep the line operating you will need to take your train to Inverness, clearing the path for passenger services.

Duration: 120 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

ZZA - (PAYWARE) 7Z37 NORWICH - LOWESTOFT
This morning you are tasked with ploughing the line between Norwich and Lowestoft. This unusual formation of one plough and two Class 37 locomotives took place on the 3rd of March 2018, although 37716 has been substituted for 37605. You are due to depart at 09:46.

Duration: 45 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
