isle of wight download available now! Class 66 download and combined Isle of Wight & Class 66 package also available!
The unique railway system of the beautiful Isle of Wight is captured in exquisite high-quality detail in this new expansion for Rail Simulator.
With excellent locomotives, wonderful scenery, rolling stock with authentic sounds, and a great and extensive set of custom scenarios, a trip to the Isle of Wight should be in your holiday plans!
You start your unique train journey in 1930s ex-London Underground Class 483 Electric Multiple Units at Ryde pierhead station, at the end of a pier jutting out into the Solent water. Then it's under the town of Ryde and into the beautiful countryside, finishing at the famous seaside town of Shanklin on the island's south coast.
If you want to drive something even older, no problem! We have also included the preserved steam railway that runs between Smallbrook Junction and Wotton Driv the 0-4-0ST 'Invincible' steam locomotive and 484 Push-Pull set.
You can experience all of these in 17 unique scenarios that allow you to explore the full extent of the current rail system on the Island.
