THE ROUTE
The route takes you from the distinctive station buildings and crossing signal box at Sheringham, under the road bridge past the main signal box, over the level crossing (with operating approach lights), past the Sheringham golf course with its imposing club house and into open countryside with the sea to your right.
Continue under a road bridge and then over another bridge, past the Weybourne windmill on the right, and you arrive at Weybourne station with its custom buildings and engine shed. Once you have left the station and passed under another road bridge, you’ll start a long climb, with dense forest on your left, and pass the request stop at Kelling Heath Halt. Continue climbing up through the long cutting, go over another level crossing and under another road bridge just before passing the Holt engine shed on your left, and then finish your journey at the end of the line at Holt.

A steam special has been organised to run around the branches and mainlines of Norfolk. You take over the train at Sheringham.

It’s a Black 5 weekend at the North Norfolk Railway today. You are taking charge of 44767 at Holt.
Christmas Special
(Black 5 – 7F)
It’s Christmas Eve and the Santa Claus special is running. You’ll be taking charge of the train at Sheringham and will drive to Holt before swapping loco’s and returning to Sheringham.
Diesel Gala
(Just Trains Class 20)
This weekend is a Diesel Gala. We are top and tailing with Class 20 D8069 and Class 47 47367.
Hengist Arrives
(Just Trains BR Clan Advanced)
Hengist has arrived from her home base. This is the first ever visit of a Clan Class loco and she has a busy gala weekend ahead of her.
First Train

Hengist is waiting at Weybourne to take the first train to Holt.
For the Final Time

City of Truro is soon due to be retired by the NRM. Take the train from Sheringham to Holt, then back down to Sheringham in a grand send-off.

Tonight we are doing a night-time freight special, starting at Sheringham. Take the train up to Holt, shunt a little, then return the train to Sheringham.
Sir Nigel Gresley to The NNR
(Just Trains A4 Pacific Class)
After failing earlier in the year to get the Sir Nigel Gresley to the North Norfolk Railway, this second attempt is much more successful. We start this scenario at Sheringham on the National Rail side of the main road.
